About Us
Although 'The Skn Academy' is new, our owner Michelle Adam has been in the beauty industry for several years. First as an Esthetician herself, then an instructor and finally a School Director, until recently when she felt compelled to open her own Esthetics Academy here in the Metropolitan Kansas City area.
Michelle has owned her own esthetics business and now puts that knowledge to use while mentoring an amazing and highly knowledgeable staff AND career-driven students here at The Skn Academy .
Michelle's passion & knowledge for esthetics shines through each and every student that she is able to thoroughly mentor on their journey towards success.

I have never left a review ever for any place but for this school, with pleasure I write this. I have the pleasure to say I graduated from this school back in May 2023. The owner and teachers were so knowledgeable of anything esthetics. They always made sure I was comfortable and were available for any questions I had. I passed my boards with flying colors because they made sure they covered every topic thoroughly and broke it down. Constantly hands on, learning about ingredients weekly, learning skin types, skin anatomy, etc. I loved the environment and energy the owner and my teachers created. Overall, this school is truly the best esthetics school in the KC area, and I’m proud to say I graduated from this school. ❤️
